Post-op recovery · Riverside Surgical Center
Turn discharge papers into a daily plan, set up your home for safe movement, and keep every visit, dose and exercise on track, with family in the loop. Just ask out loud: “Hey Get Well, what do I take next?”
Step 1 · Discharge plan
Add the discharge papers from your surgeon as a PDF, Word file, photo, or pasted text. Get Out Get Well pulls out medications, visits, care tasks and restrictions, then asks a few questions about your life at home to personalize the plan.
Your answers shape the tips, home setup and reminders. Skip anything you're unsure about.
Step 2 · Home setup
Add photos of the rooms you'll use most: entry and stairs, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area. Get Out Get Well looks for tripping hazards, reach and access problems, and suggests changes that fit your surgery and restrictions.
Step 3 · Visits & family
Every post-op and rehab visit, with the reason it matters. Add family or friends, then send them the visit by text or email, or a calendar invite that reminds everyone automatically.
Step 4 · Meds & care
Tap to check off each dose and care task. Turn on alarms to hear a chime and see a reminder while Get Out Get Well is open, and add any dose to your phone calendar so it alerts you even when the app is closed.
Step 5 · Report
A summary of the plan, home changes, visits and how well the plan has been followed. Save it as a PDF or web page, or copy it into an email for your care team or family.
Get Out Get Well organizes the instructions your care team gave you. It does not make medical decisions or change treatment. If you have chest pain, trouble breathing, or another emergency, call 911. For any other concern, call your care team. Your information stays in this browser on this device; when you use AI features, the text and photos you submit are sent to Claude to process.
